Drive Carefully. Think With Your Heart.

Came across this clip and it's indeed very sad if we are careless and ignorant of the fact that people's life are at stake due to our carelessness. Think about your family, loved ones, friends, and others.

X'mas Is Here Again :)

It's the time of the year again... X'mas is around the corner. And without fail I'm doing what I've been doing for the past years.

Setting up and decorating the Christmas tree in my house is an interesting thing to do and you get to spend your time alone, thinking, pondering whether you have done anything 'bad' for the past months :p if i did, the Santa's not gonna give me any X'mas present... >.<

*thinking out loud, "I think I've been a good boy this year",while I'm decorating my X'mas tree. Hopefully there'll be presents under my tree when I wake up on X'mas morning.. hehehe ;p

It's still too early to wish all a Merry Christmas, so cut all that crap at this moment. Just enjoy the photos...hahahahaha

Simple & Healthy Lunch, but Ended With Disaster for My Wife

My poor darling was suffering for the whole afternoon after that healthy lunch we had yesterday.

In fact we had a very simple meal yesterday. We bought a French loaf and tuna. Then we bought some vegetables for the salad. We also prepared fruit juice... err...it's more like vege juice hehehe..

We learned that mixing 5 types of greens will help to curb cancer & other sickness... so we have been having it for few weeks now.

So, after mixing and tossing and added a bit of olive oil, we started our meal. First, I didn't think this simple meal will turn disaster, but then my wife told me that her stomach is not feeling that good... "They r fighting inside" she said.

She was so dehydrated and tired after so many times running in & out of the washroom... I bought her some meds from the pharmacy but even at night before we went to sleep, she told me that her stomach are "still fighting". It sounds hilarious though when she said that hahahaha...

Anyway, she's quite ok this morning when I spoke to her over the phone...

I think next time, gotto add some meat & other stuff there... not just let her eat solely vege meal lor... hahaha

9 Months Later

I love this... it's so funny.

9 Months Later...

Jack decided to go skiing with his buddy, Bob.

So they loaded up Jack's minivan and headed north. After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard.

They pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered the door if they could spend the night. 'I realize it's terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I'm recently widowed,' she explained. 'I'm afraid the neighbours will talk if I let you stay in my house.'

'Don't worry,' Jack said. 'We'll be happy to sleep in the barn, and if the weather breaks, we'll be gone at first light.' The lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night. Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way. They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing. But about nine months later, Jack got an unexpected letter from an attorney...

It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the ski weekend. He dropped in on his friend Bob and asked, 'Bob, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our ski holiday up north about 9 months ago?'

'Yes, I do.' said Bob 'Did you, er, happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?' 'Well, um, yes !,' Bob said, a little embarrassed about being found out, 'I have to admit that I did.' 'And did you happen to give her my name instead of telling her your name?'

Bob's face turned beet red and he said, 'Yeah, look, I'm sorry, buddy, I'm afraid I did.' 'Why do you ask?' 'She just died and left me everything.'

(And you thought the ending would be different, didn't you?... you know you smiled...now keep that smile for the rest of the day!)

Interesting Story

A teenage boy had just passed his driving test and inquired of his father as to when they could discuss his use of the car.

His father said he'd make a deal: "You bring your grades up from a C to a B average, study your Bible a little, and get your hair cut. Then we'll talk about the car."

The boy thought about that for a moment, decided he'd settle for the offer, and they agreed on it.

After about six weeks his father said, "Son, you've brought your grades up and I've observed that you have been studying your Bible, but I'm disappointed you haven't had your hair cut."

The boy said, "You know, Dad, I've been thinking about that, and I've noticed in my studies of the Bible that Samson had long hair, John the Baptist had long hair, Moses had long hair...and there's even strong evidence that Jesus had long hair."

You're going to love the Dad's reply:

Good Morning, my friends.

It has been months since I updated my post. Yeah... there r nothing much happening anyway for me to update hehehe...

Anyway, here is something to start with... :)

Good Morning

First thing, in the morning,

as I begin my day,

I turn on my computer,

to see what my email friends have to say.

They bring me such delight,

with notes and cards and such,

And I appreciate their thoughtfulness,

so very much!

Sometimes, there's a concern,

a need for a quick prayer,

and it encourages me to know,

that they are always there.

I hear the birds early chirping,

with happy songs in their hearts,

and just like my Friends,

they give me a cheerful start.

I'm blessed each and every morning,

to see their names in my mailing list,

and when one isn't there,

they are truly missed.

So, I want to say

"Good Morning!"

to each and every one of you.

Have a Blessed and Happy Day.

My New Year Resolution ~ 2010

Time really flies, I can say. It's already 5 days into the new year and 2010 has so much to bring us all. And over the air and in the telly, we can see and hear people and artists saying that their new year resolution is this, and that for 2010.

Then you'll hear your friend saying he has made a new year resolution for 2010, though you know very well that he/she will never keep their resolution pass the mid of Jan... hahaha..

Anyway, I myself had made new year resolutions too in the past years, but like I have said, I have never managed to keep up to that "ideal" thinking in this complicated world. hehe

"So, what's your new year resolution?" you'll ask (I hope).

First, quit smoking, quit drinking, quit womanizing, quit driving like a mad dog, quit this, quit that.... OH!! &^%*# Just blardy QUIT!!!! haha

Naaah... those are not my resolution. My resolution for 2010 is pretty simple, though.

I just want to pray to GOD that all my friends are blessed.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year

This Xmas, I would like to put up a tree in my heart, and instead of hanging presents, I would like to put the names of all my friends. Close friends and not so close friends. The old friends, the new friends. Those that I see every day and the ones that I rarely see. The ones that I always remember and the ones that I sometimes forget. The ones that are always there and the ones that seldom are. The friends of difficult times and the ones of happy times. Friends who, without meaning to, I have hurt, or without meaning to have hurt me. Those that I know well and those I only know by name. Those that owe me little and those that I owe so much. My humble friends and my important friends. The names of all those that have passed through my life no matter how fleetingly. A tree with very deep roots and very long and strong branches so that their names may never be plucked from my heart. So that new names from all over may join the existing ones. A tree with a very pleasant shade so that our friendship may take a moment of
rest from the battles of life. "May the happy moments of Xmas brighten every day of the new year". These are my sincere wishes.

Merry
X'mas

Rainy Day

Waking up at 7.25am to a rainy day, with my wife and son are still sound asleep. Nice weather though, but seems that I am having problem sleeping. Can't sleep at night. And waking up very early in the morning, too.

Age is catching up, I guess. hahaha

My Sis Was Admitted Into Hospital

Was working on something important today when suddenly my phone rang... picking up to answer to get my dad on the other side.

"Hey... after ur work, u need 2 go 2 the SJMC, ok?"

Was in a big shock when he told me that. So I asked "What happened!?" where my dad answered "Ur sis fell down in her house, n now is admitted to the hospital". "Is she ok?", I asked. "Not really. She twisted her neck n now can't move n her head is now facing the back"

Damn!!! What will your reaction be when you heard that the situation is so bad? I bet you'll say "Fuck whatever is happening here. I'm going to the hospital" But come to think about my dad's last statement "her head is now facing the back"... hmmm... there's something fishy here.

So I waited till I finish my work, around 6.30pm where I went to the hospital to visit her. And to my relieve, she's alright. Dad was just exaggerating... hahaha. *sweat

Just gotto wait for the X-ray result and the doctor's report. Probably she'll be able to be discharged tomorrow noon. Thank God she's ok.

Nice Day To Wake Up To

Haven't had much chance waking up to a quiet and beautiful day, with birds chirping merrily (in fact, i have been awake since 2am this morning)

Anyway, it's a beautiful day Sunday, though. Quiet. Without those busy cars, buses and motorcycles going by as they are trying to reach to their work on time and trying to beat the traffic. Seeing my neighbors waking up to go to church.

Looking back, it has been very, and I mean very very, long time since the last time I am able to sit down peacefully in the morning, listening to the world around me going by their business. It has been a long time since then...

Now, what I want to do is just sit here quietly and enjoy the peacefulness and quietness of the morning before the busy days come by.

Sleepless Nite In Wangsa Baiduri

This has don't know been how many sleepless nites for me now... It has been almost everyday that I'll wake up around 2am in the morning, n can't find my way back to the dream world again.

There r so many things that r going thru my mind. Life, work, friends, etc, etc... but in the end, there's nothing conclusive. Didn't achieve much by thinking so much while I'm trying 2 get my arse back 2 the dreamland.

Actually, wanted to write more often. but there r times (in fact, most of d time) i'll find myself sitting in front of a blank blog post, thinking, wondering what to write. How to write. It just feels like i've lost myself in a certain way that I can't write anymore. I hv been trying to put down into pen about my daily life, experience, joy, hate, play, etc. But it happens that the time is totally not right when I have an inspiration to pen down something, and when I'd found time to blog about it, it'll b too late. *sigh (shake head)

OK... the answers to the quiz are:

1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?
Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way.

2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?
Did you say, Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the refrigerator?

Wrong Answer.

Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your previous actions.

3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend.... except one. Which animal does not attend?
Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator. You just put him in there. This tests your memory.

Okay, even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your true abilities.

4. There is a river you must cross but it is used by crocodiles, and you do not have a boat. How do you manage it?

Correct Answer: You jump into the river and swim across. Have you not been listening? All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

Not Again...

Came back from work n was told that there's another house in PWB4 got broken in. This is just a week from the house in PWB9 that got broken into last week. *sigh

What r all those stupid guards doing there? Shaking balls!!?? Even in this guarded community, those robbers can manage to break into people's houses in broad daylight. And we are having such "hi" security that almost everyone that comes in can just wave their hands and those "hi" security guards will let u pass thru... (see what happens when those sh*t-asses r doing sh*t-ass jobs)

Now they even dare to send out fliers to tell us about them upgrading their security services, and also telling us, the residents, that they are taking action to prevent this issue. I think, with such "hi" security here, this thing is not gonna end...

Many Days...

Many days have passed
that I am in the dull...
looking out the window where
the sky is darkened by the storm clouds...
Hoping for ray of sunshine
for which the tree of growth
and the lawn of discovery
to give a promise of salvation.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
(Romans 8:24,25)

Things Are Tough Around Here

It has not been a very smooth and easy month for me here... With loads n loads n loads of things piling up just waiting to spill out and go out of control.

Has been a very demoralizing month and is very demotivating for me & my colleague, trying our best to handle but yet there r so many things which r out of our control, but yet we r responsible for them.

Really need some motivation... need to find something 2 cheer myself up all d time... if not, surely i'll b going 2 the "rambutan hospital" very soon hahahaha
