The Chinese New Year is around the corner and all of my friends have been gearing up for a game or two of some poker and black jack. And I have just received a call from Raymond that he is planning to try his luck at the casino.

As I can foresee that there will be many people visiting the casino to try out their luck in the New Year, therefore I suggested that Raymond should try out his luck in the online casino.

"Which online casino should I try? Which is the good online casino site that I should try?" he asked. So I said, "Dexcasinos.com"

Baby's First Doctor Visit

I almost laugh out loud just now in my office after I read this good piece below.

Baby's first doctor visit

A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, waiting for the doctor to come in for the baby's first exam.

The doctor arrived, and examined the baby, checked his weight, and being a little concerned, asked if the baby was breast-fed or bottle-fed?

"Breast-fed,"she replied.

"Well, strip down to your waist," the doctor ordered. She did.

He pinched her nipples, pressed, kneaded, and rubbed both breasts for a while in a very professional and detailed examination.

Motioning to her to get dressed The doctor said, "No wonder this baby is underweight. You don't have any milk. "

"I know," she said, "I'm his Grandma, but I'm glad I came."

Hmmm... come to think about it, better I myself send my baby for the doctor checkup next time hahahahahaha

The Four Cats

I believe this is an old joke and probably all of u guys would hv read it b4... but i find it very funny n thought to share it with all of u once again...

Enjoy...

The Four Cats!

Four men were bragging about how smart their cats were .

The first man was an Engineer, the second man was an Accountant, the third man was a Chemist and the fourth man was a Government Employee.

To show off, the Engineer called his cat, "T-square, do your stuff."

T-square pranced over to the desk, took out some paper and pen and promptly drew a circle, a square, and a triangle. Everyone agreed that was pretty smart.

But the Accountant said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said, "Spreadsheet, do your stuff."

Spreadsheet went out to the kitchen and returned with a dozen cookies. He divided them into 4 equal piles of 3 cookies ............ Everyone agreed that was good.

But the Chemist said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said "Measure, do your stuff ."

Measure got up, walked to the fridge, took out a quart of milk,, got a 10 ounce glass from the cupboard and poured exactly 8 ounces without spilling a drop into the glass.

Everyone agreed that was pretty good.

Then the three men turned to the Government Employee and said, "What can your cat do?"

The Government Employee called his cat and said..... "Coffee Break.....do your stuff."

Coffee Break jumped to his feet...........

Ate the cookies..............

Drank the milk..............

Sh*t on the paper................

Screwed the other three cats.................

Claimed he injured his back while doing so..................

Filed a grievance report for unsafe working conditions...........

Put in for Workers Compensation............... and

Went home for the rest of the day on sick leave.............!!!!!!!!!!

A Good Nursing Home

I was having dinner with my parents last month and during what seems like a usual chat, a topic was started about my grandmother who had a stroke last year. She has been wheelchair bound since then and my mother has been caring for her since. Cooking, feeding, cleaning, bathing, etc.

Mother has not complained a bit, but we know that this has been taking a toll of my 55-year-old mother's health. And Dad said that he can't see the two women in his life goes down because of bad health. So I started searching for a nursing care homes for my grandmother.

I found Bettercaring.com. After going through all the online information, I told Dad about bettercaring.com and my dad told grandmother about their sending her to a nursing home. It was hard for grandmother to accept it in the first place, but after explaining to her all the information that we have gathered about nursing homes, grandma agreed.

It was hard for us too to send grandma to a nursing home but we believe that this is for the good of both grandmother and my mother. And thanks to bettercaring.com that I have found a lot of very useful information on nursing homes as well as clearing my doubts about caring for our family members who are unable to take care of themselves.

30 Week Pregnant

I have read that between 40 - 75 % of pregnant women will experience swelling on their ankles and legs. And it's gonna be worse particularly in a hot day, or mummy has been on the feet a lot.

While mild swelling is normal but if ur face and hands begin to swell and it lasts for more than 24hours, or accompanied by weight gain, or high blood pressure, then mummy will have to let her gynae know bcos it might be a sign of preeclampsia, thought only affect approximately 5-10 % of pregnant women. Anyway, mummy is to maintain proper nutrition at all time.
And while mummy n daddy are busy n excited about the coming of their little baby, the little one's eyes can now be wide open. Weighing at about 3 pounds n measuring about 14inches, our little baby may even have hair at this stage of his development. (wow... this is intriguing)

Are U Still Waiting?

I was on the phone with one of those bachelor (single, unattached or loose if u wanna call them hehehe) friends of mine n the first thing he asked was, "hey, how's ur married life?" I really wanted to say, "Wa lau eh!!! U dunno meh..!!? It's so very great... What U waiting for.?" but don't wanna kill that poor fella with my first sentence, I just said "I m good, my fren. How's urs?" and hopefully adding some humor, "when r U giving me the 'Big Red Bomb'?"

"No lar... still waiting n looking for the right wan" was his reply. The "Right One"?

Do we really or instinctively know who's the "Right One" when we see one? Many friends of mine hv told me that they know it "instinctively"... (and instinctively they r still waiting hor ) They know it by the 'feeling' of love. (I really wonder how they know so much hor... they never been 'attached' or 'pak toh' before ) So they r still 'waiting'

Here's an something to fill up ur day (if U r still 'waiting' lar har ) For those happily married friends, also continue read lor hahaha (someday, i sure kena hantam from my friends wan )

The Next Bus
============

You know, love is just like someone waiting for a bus. When the bus comes, you look at it and you say to yourself "eeee...so full... cannot sit down, I'll wait for the next one."

So you let that bus go and wait for the second bus. Then the second bus comes, you look at it and you say, "eeee...this bus is so old...so shabby!" So you let that bus go and again, decide to wait for the next bus.

After a while another bus comes, it's not crowded, not old but you say, "eeee... not air-conditioned ...better wait for the next one."

So again you let the bus go and decide to wait for the next bus. Then the sky starts to get dark as it is getting late. You panic and jump immediately inside the next bus. It is not until much later that you found out that you had boarded the wrong bus!

So you wasted your time and money waiting for what you wanted! Even if an air-conditioned bus comes, you can't ensure that the air-conditioned bus won't break down or whether or not the air-conditioner will be too cold for you.

So people... wanting to get what you want is not wrong. But it wouldn't hurt to give other people a chance, right? If you find that the "bus" doesn't suit you, just press the red button and get off the bus (as simple as that).

Hey...who said life is fair??? The best thing to do is be observant and open while you scrutinize the bus. If it doesn't suit you, get off. But you must always have an extra something which you could use for the next bus that comes.

But wait... I'm sure you've had this experience before. You saw a bus coming (the bus you want, of course), you flagged it but the driver acted as if he did not see you and zoomed past you! It just wasn't meant for you!

The bottom line is, being loved is like waiting for a bus you want. Getting on the bus and appreciating the bus by giving it a chance depends totally on you. If you haven't made a choice, WALK! Walking is like being out of love. The good side of it is you can still choose any bus you want... the rest who couldn't afford another ride would just have to be content with the bus they rode on.

One more thing.... sometimes it's better to choose a bus you are already familiar with rather than gamble with a bus that is unfamiliar to you. But then again, life wouldn't be complete without the risks involved.

But there's one bus that I forgot to tell you about - the bus that you don't have to wait for. It will just stop on its own and will ask you to come inside and take a free ride for the rest of your life.

What've We Get After We Offered Help?

Thank U? Money? A free meal? I'll need to continue dreaming to get an appreciative Thank U from those bunch of unappreciative (in-laws) goons.

If u still remember, I've mentioned that they were renovating their house recently n their contractor that did up their floor tiles is one of my wife's friends. And since they hv finished their tiling work n now it's time for those in-laws of mine to pay up. Isn't that normal..? U let them do up ur floor tiles n then upon job completion, u pay.

Yvonne's friend has just made a courtesy call to ask when can her brother n sister make the final payment since the job is done. (What'd u do? Of course u gonna call either ur brother or sister to ask rite..?) Guess what Yvonne get when she call her brother to ask about the payment.

She was BLARDY SCOLDED by her brother!!! (WHAT IS THIS!!!??) We are doing U a favor here U know. We get a reputable tiler to do up ur floor with reasonable price n we didn't even earn anything from here. And in the end, what do we get. BLARDY SCOLDED by that unappreciative goon.

To hell with U!!! Don't U blardy expect our offer to help from now!!!!

Are You Ready?

Or should i say "Am I ready?" This was the question that came from my friend when he called yesterday evening.

This friend of mine has not been in touch with me for a very long time n suddenly he called me for a chat. Then when we talked about my wife's pregnant, he asked "eh... are u ready?" My answer is "Of Course..!!! What r u talking, man..." (then we chat n laughed over some other matter n the conversation lasted pretty long before we hanged up)

Sitting down on the couch n thinking back our conversation earlier has made me wonder "Am I ready?"

Friends who know me well enough will know that Daniel WAS NOT a 'children-person'. He dislike young kids who are running around making noise, crying, screaming, yelling n making a mess out of everything n their parents will b picking up after the 'mess'. Daniel's gonna freak out seeing another devil looking like himself running around in his house. That's why my friend popped up that question yesterday

Daniel can be ready in all that needed to be prepared to welcome the little baby in a few months. Buying all the necessary stuff. Diapers. Milk bottles. Baby bath n shampoo. But is Daniel ready mentally n psychologically?
