Reality Sucks!

There r times when u feel so tired and exhausted, and the first thing that comes to your mind is to get out of what u r doing and head on to somewhere and something that you like to do. But this isn't what the real life offering.

When we were young and living in an imaginary life of ours, we were thinking that when we grow up, we'll have lots of time because we will not be spending most of our time studying and doing homework. Then we'll have lots of money too as we'll be working and not getting just pennies from our parents. We'll have lots of friends too since on average we get to know around 5 - 10 friends a year.. hahaha

But in reality, this doesn't look as good as we thought it can be. Yeah... we grew up... but with those "extra" time that we have, we use them for Over-Time, and house chores since, I presume, most of you working adults will be staying away from your parents... Then how about the "lots of money"? Naahhh... Don't think so. We spent many years in our life trying to get a prestigious certificate and degree, or even masters, but ended up getting paid peanuts by bosses who use the excuse of "economy down-turn". Then with that little that we get, it's as bad as asking money from your parents.

Having lots of friends are good, and if you get to know on average of 5 - 10 new friends in a year, then by the time you get around 35 yrs old, ur friends list will be as long as the Golden Gate bridge... hahaha.. But, there's a problem here.. It's not a problem to make friends on an average of 5 - 10. It's whether you guys are really "friends".

Nowadays, with the introduction of Friendsters, Facebook, and lots of other bla bla bla, there is no problem of making friends. But are those really your friends? I bet they are not. They are just numbers. "See... I've got 250 friends in my friend-list in Facebook" will bring an awe, but do you know them all? Nope... So what happen when you are really needing a true friend? You can't find one! There is nobody around for you to talk to... There is nobody around to comfort you... There is nobody around to give you courage... You are all alone!

This is just another day where you are too free and has got anything better to do and start thinking rubbish hahahaha. Anyway, I want to apologise to all my friends whom I have not been keeping in touch for some time. I really cherrish and appreciate your friendship. You guys always have a special place in my heart. Take care

Funny Dream

My dreams r getting weirder n weirder each day... Just yesterday morning, in fact it's around 6am, i had a very funny dream which I was still laughing even when i woke up.

Let me ask u something. When u r typing something in ur computer, how do u type "a square of 10" or 102? U'll use superscript rite? Ok ok... if u r lost here, then u can stop already.. hehehe

But how do u do it when u r writing that on a piece of paper? U gonna go look for superscript too? Yeah... this was what's happened in my dream. I was writing something on a piece of paper at that moment n then it happened that i need to write "a square of something"... so guess what i did at the moment? i was trying 2 click onto that piece of paper 2 try getting the "Format" option and trying to figure out why there's no such option popping up for my selection... hahaha

Only then i realized that i was in fact writing on a paper n not on a computer... n started scolding myself "u so blardy stupid lor.. hor.. " hahaha..

Human Trafficking

There's this news that the custom is high on catching foreigners that come in our country to work without any proper working permit or visa. And rumor that whenever the officers are suspicious of a visitor, he/she will be called in for questioning.

But how do they know which fella to call in? Is it based on the number of visits in a period of time?

Anyway, that I do not care. But there was a call of a few visitors for questioning a few days ago. And apparently this fella came from China and his laptop was confiscated by the custom officer before he was questioned. Then after about half an hour of questioning, he was let off to go as there was "no any suspicion" as to his frequent visits to our country. But the officers had conveniently 'forgotten' to return the laptop to this poor chap.

So this poor ol'Chinaman went to request for his machine. Upon questioning why he wants the laptop for when he's just visiting, he blurted out saying "I need it to work here!"

There it goes... Just a couple of minutes ago, he was walking out the room a free man without any suspicion but now he's brought back into the room for further questioning and this poor chap is waiting to be deported back to his lovely home.. hahaha

Sleepless Nite In Wangsa Baiduri

It is yet another sleepless nite for me. But 2day, it has nothing 2 do with anything. Yeah...i know, there is still work pressure, life problem, but 2day i just can't get myself to sleep. Ok ok... in fact, i slept for a while n then is wide awake. Keep rolling n tossing on d bed n hoping that i'll fall asleep soon enough but *sigh... there i am sitting in front of my pc writing

Talking about work pressure, it has been a hectic month for me in July'09. There were so many things to do. Project manuals, testings, bla bla bla... n now that a new GM came in to replace the old one, so i supposed that he'll make some changes in out department. Had a short conversation with him today n he said he will keep the department 'as it is' n has no plan to make any changes...

Anyway, to me, changes is good. We need new ideas, new people, so that our place will see an improvement. With the 'old style' being practiced for so long, i think it's about time. Otherwise, those 'old' staff who claimed that they have been working here for many many donkey years will think that what they r doing now is correct n will not change for any Tom, Dick or Harry.. hahhaha

I think i gotto go catch some sleepy eyes... if not, i'll have big problem staying awake later.. hehe
