37 + 38 Weeks Pregnant
Talking to some friends and they said that Yvonne is very very near to her labor due date. And yeah!! we are counting our days to baby's birth day and I'm very excited about it. (emm... 1st time be father mar )
So I read when our baby weighs over 5 1/2 pounds and finish the 37th week, our baby is considered Full Term and could arrive at any time. At this time, our baby is growing rapidly each day for the next 2 weeks and fat stored will help maintain his body temperature and glucose level. Weighing about 6 1/2 pounds and measuring 18 1/2 inches, our baby would look very well developed if born today. Adding to that he has a firm grasp reflex now. As light is shown, baby will now turn towards it (this is called the "orienting response")
However, he might still have vernix (a creamy coating protecting his skin) but is mostly confined to skin creases and folds, the back and neck.
This is really incredible. It feels like a blink of eyes from the day we found out that Yvonne is pregnant and now our little baby is full term and about to be born. Checking back, I didn't realize that I've written so much about pregnancy (err... not so much like those professional parenting sites lar.. pai sey) and soon I'll start to write stuff on parenting liow ...
My dearest friends, colleagues, blog readers n visitors, I owe this to all your supports and advises. Thank you very much. May b we can come out for yum cha (for a cuppa) n can exchange ideas hehehe

Yea...! U Sure Is Stressed!
Then...
He: No lar. I going alone this time
Me: But, why? I thought u plan the trip to be spent wit ur wife.!
He: Nope... Just wanna spend some time alone
Hmmm... he must be very stressed not going wit his wife. So I guess he's gonna let everyone in his office know that he'll not be around for a short time.
Then a crazy idea came to me.
Me: Wei, u gotto put up the out-of-office reply in ur email setting so that ur colleagues n customers will know about ur not around.
He: Yea... but I dunno what to put in there.
Me: hmm... u can say "I'm not really out of office now. Just feel like ignoring U"
Then I found a list of those 'out of office' reply that can really make ur day
- I am currently out at a job interview and will reply to you if I fail to get the position. Be prepared for my mood.
- You are receiving this automatic notification because I am out of the office. If I were in, chances are you wouldn't have received anything at all.
- Sorry to have missed you but I am at the doctors having my brain removed in preparation for my promotion to management.
- I will be unable to delete all the unread, worthless emails you send me until I return from vacation on 10/18. Please be patient and your mails will be deleted in the order they were received.
- Thank you for your email. Your credit card has been charged $5.99 for the first ten words and $1.99 for each word thereafter.
- The e-mail server is unable to verify your server connection and is unable to deliver this message. Please restart your computer and try sending again.' (The beauty of this is that when you return, you can see how many in-duh-viduals actually did this over and over).
- Thank you for your message, which has been added to a queuing system. You are currently in 352nd place, and can expect to receive a reply in approximately 10 weeks, if I am still around then.
- Please reply to this e-mail so I will know that you got this message. I am on holiday. Your e-mail has been deleted.
- Hi. I'm thinking about what you've just sent me. Please wait by your PC for my response.
- Hi! I'm busy negotiating the salary for my new job. Don't bother to leave me any messages.
- I've run away to join a different circus.
AND, FINALLY, ABSOLUTELY THE BEST:
- I will be out of the office for the next 2 weeks for medical reasons. When I return, please refer to me as 'Michelle' instead of 'Steve'.
Guess what... my friend calls me back with lots of '&^$&*^$&##' hahahaha
Getting The Right Training
A training course that can make the difference that will spell success to the company. We need to find a suitable Sales Training course that can make the difference besides all the busy schedules. "Where and how can we find such training course?" they asked.
That's where I suggested Advand. That's the first thing that I said "Sales Training UK". Advand are a website that help to find training courses suitable for you in your area. After they have found the suitable and qualified training company in your region, they will contact you. Though they are not the trainers, rest assure that they are good to understand the courses you required that can maximise your potential as well as meeting your targets.

36 Weeks Pregnant
(we sat down at Dr. Tan's desk while he's checking on something)
Dr: Okay, let me see. This is the final month of ur pregnancy (adding a smile to his face) How r u? Baby giving u hard time a bit eh..?
I reckon there should be a reason why Dr. Tan said this when he met us in his clinic that day during Yvonne's routine check-up. It has been hard for her to find a comfortable position while Yvonne's is lying down. And just as she is about to get to sleep, she's up again. Why? To use the toilet, that's why.
But there are ways where all pregnant mommies can find a little comfort while sleeping. One of which is by sliding one or two pillows between your legs and at your back. Though you might find it hard getting up to the washroom every while, drinking warm milk, chicken broth or 'sleepy time tea' may help you.
Weighing about 5 - 5 1/2 pounds and approximately 17 inches, baby is growing rapidly. But mommy may find that her weight is 'stabilizing' and there are some mommies that looses one or two pounds. (hmm... are you gaining or loosing weight at this period?) I can say for sure that Yvonne is gaining weight rapidly like our baby does... hahahaha

The Mom Test
I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter.
She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.
'Why?' my daughter asked. 'Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been it's dirty, and probably has germs' I replied.
At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, 'Momma, how do you know all this stuff, you are so smart.'
I was thinking quickly. 'All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mom Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mom.'
We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information.
'OH...I get it!' she beamed, 'So if you don't pass the test you have to be the dad. ''Exactly' I replied back with a big smile on my face.

35 Weeks Pregnant
Have u packed ur bag ready for the big day?
Have u arranged for the confinement lady to take care of u?
Have u arranged for baby sitter after u start work again?
Have u bought all ur baby's diapers, clothes, pacifier?
When will be the big day? Don't forget to let us know.
These are some of the questions posted by excited (concerned and képoh ) relatives and friends when we met them during our Chinese New Year visits .
The time is drawing near and it's approaching rapidly. Just as excited as we are awaiting for our precious little baby to be born, the feeling of fear of birth is also lingering in our heart. Though little as it may be, this 'fear' is unavoidable especially when it is our first baby. Will it be an 'easy' or 'hard' labor? Will I be a good father/mother? What can I do when my wife is in pain during labor? (Oops... this only applicable if u r an "expecting" daddy )
This is a time when mommy and daddy to-be are busy with all the arrangement for the "BIG Day". Packing, buying baby clothings, looking for childcare, diapers, car seat, baby cot, etc
As for me, it would be an understatement to say that I am totally excited awaiting that "BIG Day". But the ol' Daniel inside is feeling the pinch. When one of Yvonne's best friend asked me, "Are u having pre-natal anxiety, Daniel?" "Huh..!!" was the only response that escaped from me. "It's all shown in ur face ler..."
"UH IA BOH (sure or not)!!!"
