Invitation To Wedding Reception By Phone!!?

I've just finished a pretty 'funny' conversation with Yvonne, and what really baffled me is Yvonne told me about her friend, Jennifer, who got invited to my sister's wedding this Sunday. The best part is the "Invitation" was all done thru phone call. Mine you, ONLY ONE phone call (no details provided)

Yvonne: Hey, very free ar..?
Me: Ya lor... what 2 do. hehehe As usual lor.. hahaha
Yvonne: U know what... Ur sister hor, called Jennifer and invited her to her wedding. But didn't even tell Jennifer when, where, and what time wan wor...
Me: Har...... like that also can ar..? How? I thought she's sending Jennifer invitation card??
Yvonne: No wor... she just gave Jennifer a call.
Me: Hahahahahaha....... like that also can wan ar..? Invite people to wedding dinner but didn't give invitation card... hmmmm....
