19 Weeks Pregnant

october-2007.jpg4th October, 2007. There will be exactly 5 months from today to my little baby’s expected date of birth (4th March 2008). Time really flies from the day I first discovered that Yvonne is pregnant. baby23.jpg When we went for the first check up. When we saw our baby for the first time through ultra sound… the heart beat…

Soon there will be the baby-crying.jpg first cry, first smile, baby-crying_1.jpg first tantrum, babys-first-step.jpg first little step. I can’t wait to see all those little firsts from her.

During week-19, heartburn is more likely to occur as the uterus pushes up against mommy’s stomach. Nutrients will reach the baby more efficiently as the movement of food through the digestive tract has slowed. It is advisable to eat several smaller meals throughout the day if you are troubled by heartburn. Avoid eating before bed.

At this stage, 19-weeks.jpg the baby is 15cm from crown to rump, and weighing about 8 ounces. Permanent teeth buds are forming behind the milk teeth buds. The reproductive organs are developing rapidly.

As for baby girl, the uterus and baby boy, the testes are clearly visible at this stage.

So, in short, our little is getting big..
